Writing this takes me back to August and the stunning wedding setting at Ravensheugh beach Log Cabin. I feel very grateful to have been part of Ashley and Ian’s special day. With the help of family and friends, the couple brought their DIY ideas to life to create a rustic, boho vibe, filled with lots of flowers and fun. The temperamental Scottish weather threw everything at us, from rain to shine and back in the space of just 5 minutes, but this didn’t put a dampener on the party atmosphere. I started this story with a few shoots from Edinburgh just because I was fascinated by the looks and atmosphere of the city. Cant wait to be back in June. Nanos prewedding session

 

Every time I get asked by my clients, where could we go for a prewedding session, this place is always on my mind. Nanos! Good place for hiking with some special views and when the skies are clear you can see all the way to the sea.  We were chasing the golden hour with Alena from Fragments collection and we got lucky! Vsakič, ko se mi ponudi priložnost fotografirati poroko na Krasu, jo sprejmem z odprtimi rokami. Poleg tega, da je zelo fotogeničen zaradi svoje mogočne in raznolike pokrajine, hkrati ponuja tudi subtilno in nežno okolje, kar je na kožo pisano za popoln poročni dan. Kljub raznoliki narodnosti svatov, je bilo navdušenje nad lokacijo in naravo veliko. Poroka PliskovicaHostel Kras mi je bila blizu, zaradi njene intimnosti in mednarodnosti. Naj vas ne preseneti da nevesta nima šopka in da nista rezala torte kot je to v navadi. Glede na spodnjo poročno zgodbo tega niti ni opaziti. Wedding in Croatia

I thought my wedding season was done, but I got an interesting email for a wedding in Croatia. Trogir to be exactly. As you will see from the post it's a historic town and harbour on the Adriatic coast in Split-Dalmatia County . Vibrant little city center with great market place and lots of great food and places to swim. Wedding day started relaxing like all the things on the coast do. After preparation we drove to the other side of the peninsula to take some shots. Midday sun and harsh light made a bit worried but we managed to take some good ones. There is beautiful walk to the church Gospe od Prizidnice so if you are there go check it out. If only we could have ceremony in that church. I don't want to give you all the details so please take a look at the photos.

Wedding House Layer

This summer was crazy, lots of travels lots of work and lots of nice venues, so it was nice to work at home town for a change. This was a small wedding in my favorite place House Layer and I covered just 6 hours from prep to the reception. I was worried how the story would look on my blog but I love it. There was lots of details, beautiful flowers and most of all I loved the the wedding dress and that her hair was loose and down over her shoulders. As a wedding photographer I had to write this and I hope more brides will get encouraged seeing how good it looks. It gave a gloomy feeling because it was rain on the wedding day. I hope you will enjoy this post as much as I do. Best wishes to Masa&Luka for trusting in my work, you were great.

First time I heard about Madeira was years ago when my friend came back so excited and telling me how beautiful island this really is. Contact came trough email and we were on the plane. Yeah we, I took my wifee for a little vacation (but that is another story). :) First impressions were great and than it was just getting better and better. You can see the pulse of the city Funchal and some amazing cliff views just before sun came down on the south of the island. Next day was a wedding day! Ceremony was held at the lovely church Nossa Senhora do Monte with the views on the city. So much flowers around the church. Just wow. We got lucky after the church because botanical garden (Monte Palace Tropical Garden) was already closed but they let us in for half an hour where we did the portrait session. The garden is magical and I dare you to see it when you visit Madeira. Reception was held back at the hotel.

There is a lot going on in 2016 and one of them is me in Paris shooting wedding. It all happened pretty quick and I just loved my time there. As you will see we started casual in Paris walking the streets and parks and having good time. The ceremony was held at the church of Saint-Sulpice which was really old and impressive. After we took a quick drive to the french countryside wedding in the little village Paley just outside of Paris. The place is called Le Moulin de Gueliz! We had so much fun and I have lot more photos to share but I think this will do for now and I hope you enjoy this photo story. As you can see people came from all over the world. The groom is Argentinian and bride is French. Thank you C&P for having a wedding photographer from Slovenia.

Is it me or is it just Kranj in me that I see it in B&W. You think it could be colorful too? Maybe, but for me it's either black or white and I wouldn't change it for anything because this is my town. This wedding was in 2014 and I know it's beautiful but I needed time to get it published. It was perfect, every part of the wedding was in ''house Layer'' in the middle of the old town center. I'm thankful to J&D that they got married and let me be there with them to document their wedding.

”There’s a first time for everything”

Wedding on Friday and Saturday!

After a good skype call we signed the wedding contract! I was so excited for this two days… Civil wedding took place in Salzbug (Austria) famous Mirabell palace & Marmorsaal and church wedding was in little town Inzell (Germany), just a half an hour drive from Salzburg to the mountains. Bare in mind that I had a tough selection to pick the photos for this post. We wish the couple all the best on new journey and hope you guys like this post as much as we do!
