My name is Darko and I am a documentary wedding photographer. I have been photographing weddings for few years and have been lucky enough to travel all over Europe photographing destination weddings and meeting couples from different countries. I also love to work in my beautiful country, Slovenia. My style can be described as documentary, storytelling and creative with a touch of modern, as I’m sure you can see in my photos. It seems like my style is already established, but I get better with every wedding I photograph. If you are looking for wedding photos with a relaxed and authentic feel, then I believe we are a good match. I approach each wedding as a story that unfolds throughout the day and create a lasting, cohesive memory of it in photos. I always strive to catch those little moments between people, but I also make sure to photograph all the guests and important parts of the event, and of course to follow your wishes. I have a background in engineering which means I am a problem solver who likes to prepare for all eventualities. I always have two cameras and a spare on hand, I arrive on time and respect all parts of our agreement. I am happy to answer your questions and offer advice. Making you feel relaxed throughout the photography process and thrilled with the result is my number one priority. I usually prefer to catch moments that naturally arise and don’t rely heavily on directed photographs. I became a wedding photographer because I love life and people. Family means the world to me. Since I was a child, I could sit for hours, observing and waiting for the perfect moment. Now I get to record people’s expressions, feelings and emotions on their special day and that is why I love my job.
